Hi everyone and welcome to Mixed Gypsy. My name is Karen Dixon and I'm the owner and founder of Mixed Gypsy Art's & Crafts. I have been in this industry for over 26 years. This is the second store in this industry for me, the first being Craft-A-Lot built from the ground up and sold. Since then the children have grown and I have come full circle to start afresh with more inspiration to share than ever before. We have a bricks and mortar store with a large open studio and an a joining cafe and now our online store.

I have worked for many art & craft companies, had my work published in magazines, been on TV's Weekend Extra sharing the inspiration of the craft world. I've also demonstrated at shows, shared my knowledge with many and love teaching with the many arts & craft mediums available. Classes and demonstrations that I have taught include scrapbooking, card making, art journaling, mixed media art, off the page, recycled art, sculpting, with Polymer clay and Powertex/stone art products. And many more. I have been a certified Powertex and stone art Trainer since 2013 and have had the privilige of working beside many talented artists.
